born in the year of the snake, anne grew up near the water in a harbor town. she has never answered the question: art or science?

anne received the town's science award at the age of 12, the same year she accepted her first job in production at the performing arts foundation. while in high school she expressed her fascination with recombinant DNA to Nobel laureate Dr. James Watson, who immediately hired her into his laboratory.

anne eventually took up photography, film & video.

she later surprised even herself by returning to university for combined graduate work in environmental studies & broadcast journalism.

her black & white documentary roots still show true to color with her environmental work, where she feeds her need for science & dishes it back out to the web in digital story format.
